Overview
Four Seasons Vail occupies one of the best locations in Vail and offers beautiful surroundings, but our off-season experience did not consistently deliver the level of service expected from a Michelin Key property or the Four Seasons brand. While the resort likely shines during ski season, luxury standards should remain consistent year-round.
Property Highlights
- ·Excellent location in Vail Village
- ·Beautiful mountain views
- ·Outstanding hot chocolate experience at Remedy Bar
- ·Strong luxury atmosphere
- ·Likely exceptional during ski season
Strengths
- + Excellent location in Vail Village
- + Beautiful mountain views
- + Friendly staff
- + Outstanding hot chocolate experience at Remedy Bar
- + Strong luxury atmosphere
- + Likely exceptional during ski season
Weaknesses
- − Staff entered room unexpectedly at 8:30 AM
- − Room door was left open after housekeeping visit
- − Slow service response times
- − $8.99 charge for delivery of basic silverware
- − Air conditioning would not cool below 70 degrees
- − Room condition showed signs of wear
- − Coffee shop closed during visit
- − Service did not consistently meet Four Seasons expectations
The Verdict
Four Seasons Vail occupies one of the best locations in Vail and offers beautiful surroundings, but our off-season experience did not consistently deliver the level of service expected from a Michelin Key property or the Four Seasons brand. We would return, but only during ski season, when the property is operating at full capacity and the mountain setting justifies the premium.
Would We Return?
But only during ski season.

resort · Longboat Key
St. Regis Longboat Key
The St. Regis Longboat Key delivers one of the strongest luxury resort experiences we have encountered. The property's modern design, exceptional service, and polished facilities easily outweigh its minor shortcomings. The resort's newness gives it a distinct advantage, and the butler service sets a benchmark for hospitality.

hotel · London
The Savoy
The Savoy is one of those rare hotels that leaves a lasting impression long after checkout. The historic elegance, outstanding service, exceptional dining, and prime London location all contribute to an exceptional stay, but what truly sets the property apart is the way the staff make guests feel. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and genuine. Combined with a beautiful River View Suite overlooking the Thames and a New Year's Eve celebration spent watching London's fireworks with family, The Savoy delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had.

resort · Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman
The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa
The Westin Grand Cayman is a resort that understands its greatest strength and leans into it. Seven Mile Beach is the centerpiece of the experience, and the resort makes it easy to enjoy with abundant seating, excellent access, and a relaxed atmosphere. While the property is beginning to show its age and the dining experience leaves room for improvement, the combination of location, beach quality, and friendly service creates a highly enjoyable stay.
