The Savoy is one of those rare hotels that leaves a lasting impression long after checkout. The historic elegance, outstanding service, exceptional dining, and prime London location all contribute to an exceptional stay, but what truly sets the property apart is the way the staff make guests feel. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and genuine. Combined with a beautiful River View Suite overlooking the Thames and a New Year's Eve celebration spent watching London's fireworks with family, The Savoy delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had.

Seven Mile Beach is the centerpiece of the experience, and the resort makes it easy to enjoy with abundant seating, excellent access, and a relaxed atmosphere. While the property is beginning to show its age and the dining experience leaves room for improvement, the combination of location, beach quality, and friendly service creates a highly enjoyable stay.

The snorkel lagoon, marine life, ocean views, pools, and endless activities create an experience that few resorts can match. However, the property is also held back by transportation challenges, extensive walking, expensive pricing throughout the resort, and a location that relies heavily on the property itself for entertainment. Families looking for an activity-filled vacation will likely love it, but travelers seeking a seamless luxury experience may find the drawbacks more noticeable.

W Hoboken benefits from one of the most desirable locations in the New York metropolitan area. The combination of waterfront positioning, incredible skyline views, and easy access to Manhattan creates a compelling stay. While the rooms, views, and valet service stand out, cleanliness concerns and a relatively ordinary front desk experience prevent the hotel from reaching its full potential. With renovations planned, W Hoboken appears well-positioned to become one of the area's top hotels.

Four Seasons Vail
Four Seasons Vail occupies one of the best locations in Vail and offers beautiful surroundings, but our off-season experience did not consistently deliver the level of service expected from a Michelin Key property or the Four Seasons brand. We would return, but only during ski season, when the property is operating at full capacity and the mountain setting justifies the premium.
