The Watchtower is one of the most unique and well-located vacation rentals in Rosemary Beach. Incredible potential, outstanding location, but disappointing upkeep. This luxury vacation rental features beautiful architecture and a spacious multi-level layout, a stunning rooftop terrace with panoramic views, a private courtyard with outdoor fireplace, and a separate guest house for additional privacy. The property is pet-friendly with outdoor space perfect for dogs, includes four complimentary bicycles, and offers private beach access. While the property has incredible potential and an outstanding location, years of deferred maintenance prevent it from delivering the luxury experience its design and price point promise.

Weaknesses
- − Visible mold in both the guest house and portions of the main house
- − General cleanliness did not meet expectations for a luxury rental
- − Air conditioning struggled to cool the home consistently
- − One bedroom ceiling fan was excessively loud and produced a constant humming noise
- − A bathtub drain was clogged during our stay
- − Several door handles and fixtures were loose or broken
- − Property shows noticeable wear from years of heavy vacation rental use
- − Kitchen located on the third floor made daily use less convenient
- − Preventative maintenance appears to have been deferred for too long
